Nordhouse Dunes: June 24, 25, 26 This trip is a perfect introduction to backpacking. You will learn the amazing health benefits awaiting you in the backcountry, as well as other life skills like team building, group dynamics and leadership. Nordhouse is located between Manistee and Ludington along the shores of Lake Michigan. If you are looking for a new challenge in your life, or if you are a seasoned backpacker, this is the perfect way to start the season. The only equipment you will need is a sleeping bag.
